Saturday, November 15, 2025, 230 VAB members and their guests enjoyed a night of eating, drinking, socializing and celebrating at the “Platinum & Pearls” themed VAB Hall of Fame & Awards Gala at The DoubleTree by Hilton in South Burlington. All VAB Hall of Fame members in attendance were bestowed with a commemorative pin sybolizing their membership in this elite group of broadcasters:

Four rising star awards were given to (R-L): Adrian Pastor (News Reporting), Sam Shinn (Executive Producing), Bobby Lussier (Development) and Lily Sakaniwa (News Reporting)

Terry Jaye accepted the Alan Noyes Community Service award on behalf of WSYB whose annual Christmas Fund raised $64,000 last year, Peg Doolin accepted the Snyder Teffner Award for excellence behind the scenes in a support role, Merl Grabowski accepted a Distinguished Service award for his 40+ year career in radio and WXXX-FM (95 Triple X) received the Broadcaster of the Year award, which was accepted by air personality Mel Bechtel on their behalf:

Shawn & Chris Hill accepted the posthumous induction of their father John Hill into the VAB Hall of Fame along with Joe Carroll and Joe Tymecki!
