Candis Leopold, Lori Antell, Andrea Lammly & C.K. Coin Retire

After careers spanning from 30 to 40 years, in some cases most of which or in some cases all of which where spent at Hall Communications Radio Group, Candis Leopold, Lori Antell, Andrea Lammly and C.K. Coin are retiring!

Candis Leopold is a veteran of over 4 decades in radio, including time spent at The Point as well as Bruce James’ radio group in the Northeast Kingdom, before joining Hall Communications in September 2008 as Sales Manager for WIZN-FM & WBTZ-FM and later becoming GSM for all 5 stations. Candis served on the VAB Board of Directors and became the first female VAB President. She made many trips to Washington D.C. to advocate for the interests of all Vermont broadcasters with members of congress. In 2014, Candis was inducted into the VAB Hall of Fame.

Lori Antell exited the hospitality industry to join Hall Communications as a Marketing Consultant in October 2012. All the traits that made her exceptional at hospitality also made her an exceptional radio Marketing Consultant. Always going the extra mile, Lori is loved by all her clients. She has won numerous awards while at Hall Communications and was a huge help catering internal parties and special events like the Camp Ta Kum Ta Thon.

Andrea Lammly started her 33+ year career as Hall Communications Business Manager in October of 1991 after 17 years working for Coca Cola. Although Andie has always been on top of details like collections and cash flow, she contributed in so many more ways. She hosted country concert bus trips, she did a bit on NFL predictions called “Andie’s Picks” on WOKO’s Morning Roundup and she provided the staff with a constant supplies of delicious homemade baked goods. In 2022, Andrea was awarded the VAB Snyder-Teffner for excellence behind the scenes in a support role. She married to co-worker C.K. Coin.

C.K. Coin joined Hall Communications in August of 1996. For many years, he was part of WOKO’s The Morning Round Up with co-hosts Jim Whitehead, then Cowboy Cal, then Wild Bill Sargent, before moving to the mid-day show where he has garnered consistent ratings and loyal listeners. C.K. worked at a number of stations including WGNA-FM in Albany and Kixx County in the Upper Valley before coming to Hall Communications. C.K. and is wife Andrea are active in Milton community activities including emcee of the July 4th parade and other events including the Church he and Andie attend.
