To celebrate 40 years with a continuous format, WXXX-FM (95 Triple X) will be doing a five-month campaign to thank listeners for staying with them and allowing them into their homes for four decades. The celebration will culminate in a local event where they will honor staff members past and present as well as give the audience an event to remember!

WXXX-FM Founder Howard Ginsberg said, “95 TripleX went on the air in November of 1984 and brought talent, personalities and excitement to the Burlington/Plattsburgh airwaves.  It far exceeded our expectations, garnering a formerly unheard of rating share of 28.4, 12+ listeners, within 5 months of its beginning!  Advertisers jumped on board as well.  The fun we had behind the scenes was part of our special sauce as we became family with the community.  It was a great time in area Radio history, and many of us who put this all together remain good friends and are still in contact with each other some 40 years later!”
