New Program Director for WXXX-FM

WXXX-FM ’95 Triple X’ and its parent company Vox AM/FM/Digital announced that they promoted current midday host and 2025 Emerson College graduate Isabella “Izzy” Mitchell to the role of Program Director//Brand Ambassador for 95 Triple X.

Mitchell will move to afternoons (2 p.m. – 7 p.m.) starting in January 2026, where she will bring audience-engaging, enthusiastic energy to the brand. In addition to on-air hosting, she will oversee daily programming, content, sound design, record label relationships, promotions, and audience engagement strategies. Mitchell, Emerson class of 2025, is currently midday host on 95 Triple X, program coordinator/host for WERS-FM (Boston), and CNN podcast operations intern.

Vox AM/FM Operations Manager Ted Richards said, “We’re thrilled to welcome Izzy to our management team. I couldn’t be more excited to have one of the brightest young talents joining ’95 Triple X’. The station has a proud history, but I’m confident that Izzy’s winning attitude will keep us connecting with our listeners in new and creative ways. This is an amazing opportunity to bring in the next generation of talented radio leaders– and Izzy is just who we need!”

Mitchell said, “To be trusted with leading the station is an incredible honor. I’m excited to build on what makes 95 Triple X special and keep it a real part of the community—to be the voice Vermonters and New Yorkers hear on their morning carpools, late-night drives, and weekend getaways. I grew up listening to the radio in Vermont, and to be part of that now feels a lot like coming home.”
